Good old Australia Post. Nothing in Adelaide for me. Fingers X not too much longer

In Sydney - got mine today and posted it back. Ordered 18 bottles. Order form had a green stamp with 2018.

My form arrived in Wagga. Order 24 in total - 6 each of the Shiraz and Cab Malbec, 4 each if the other 3. Not expecting to bet everything - would be happy with 18.

Red crayon.

Also still waiting in WA…always takes longer to get mail compared to the east coast, hopefully it comes soon!

The Wendouree carrier pigeons have a tougher time of it, flying into the prevailing wind and all of it.

Just a lowly red crayoner here.

I got the mail on Friday 9/7. Sydney sider here, humble red crayon stripe, will request each reds. Not sure if 2 business days delay would affect my allocation.

Mine arrived late Friday in Sydney - red stripe as well.

I'm using the lockdown to do a stocktake of my cellar.

Mailer arrived yesterday. I'll have a look at budgets and get back the letter later in the week. QLD red crayon here.

First timer here in Vic, received my nicely worded rejection letter asking me to reply with confirmation that I want to be advised of future offers.

So I will wait a year in the attempt to add a couple of Wendouree examples to my small collection.

After checking my mailbox for three days, I now move on to checking my Mastercard a/c three times a day. Well, what else can I do in total lockdown?

Posted mine back today. Was told at Australia Post that my Express Post from Perth will arrive in SA in.....oh, about 7 days

For those of us not on the mailing list, can someone please tell me how it works, and what the different colours, stripes, etc mean?

From what I can glean. 3 levels which are 1) black initials, 2) red crayon and 3) nothing. Black inititals get what they want, red crayon gets small scalebacks 3) lucky if they get much.

I wrote a letter 10 years ago and have been a red crayon for 8 of those years.

I understand some are now getting a stamp with the year they applied e.g. 2020.

I have mentioned this before, but black initials don't get everything they want. I have got scaled back, but still get SOME of the more sought after shiraz and cab blends every time I ask for it. Happy with sharing; the reality is I don't need 6 of the same wines every year.

I recently changed jobs after 13yrs at the same place. I got all my mail sent to work and email to my work email address. Forgot my Wendouree letter went there too. Had to call up and get a copy of the form sent out. Not ideal.

Take my advice. Dont be a fool, keep your personal life seperate from your work life.

How long have they been on the list - sounds like something between Red and nothing to me but who the hell knows.

Maybe they are just messing with us all.

Started last year. More of a stamp, I think. Seems to be a way of prioritising those of us too late to the party to qualify for crayon status.

Orders delayed a week

Just picked up my order. As suspected, lockdown week in SA has slowed things down a bit.
Positive comments on the 2019s, described as "very complex", with Malbec likely to be the most approachable now, and some others needing 'time' in the cellar. I am interested to hear the reports from scribes like TWF who taste them all on release year in and out.
