I second Riesling Freak. Pay the extra money and do the sit down tasting with a food platter. We enjoyed ours immensely last week.
Standish is a must visit. Dan’s wines are exceptional. Eperosa and Tomfoolery are also worth getting to. There really are so many options, it really depends on what kind of wine you prefer. If you like big Barossa shiraz, try Ballycroft or Gomersal Wines. Henshcke is a destination if you do the tour.
Food wise, Fermentasian is the only must do for me. Amazing food and a wine list to die for. BYO during the week too. Fino at Seppeltsfield was a tad disappointing for us. 1918 was exceptional but I’ve heard can be a bit streaky. El Estanco in Greenock is excellent and a great place for Lunch. The Greenock Tavern has the best schnitzel in the Barossa. Linke’s and Steiny’s do amazing smallgoods worth taking home. Barossa Farmers Market if you are there on a Saturday morning. But buy your coffee from the coffee stand, not where you buy the Breakfast rolls. It’s much better according to the coffee drinkers on our trip. Enjoy your stay!

Cheers
Ian
If you had to choose between drinking great wine or winning Lotto, which would you choose - Red or White?

I've had one very good experience there and one not so good experience there, I can only guess some days they have the normal staff and others the trainees but there seems to be a lack of quality control as far as what makes it out of the kitchen. There are plenty of other fantastic places so I'd probably opt for somewhere that's been a bit more consistent.

I'm thinking staying in Tanunda, will get air bnb a number of nice looking options once we lock in numbers

Henschke VIP Tour
Seppeltsfield
Kaleske
Turkey Flat
Charles Melton

Fermentasian
Barossa Valley Brewing

Foodland for piles of cheese and coffee shops in Tanunda

If there was *one* single thing you think we are missing that you would add what would it be?
Not a CD or restaurant, the Foodland in Nuri .... unbelievable

Rieslingfreak is recommended from my point of view, but there are so many other options, so little time in two days

Coffee at the Farmer's Market is a bit average imo. Def not the burger/brekkie stand, the other coffee stand near the entrance is also patchy, pity
