I don't understand how this can work. You need to replace the screwcap with another screwcap. That means opening the wine, even if just for a very brief period. Surely that has to affect the wine in some way?

That would be just like at the Penfolds wine clinic, opened, gassed then recorced.

Perhaps they are only for use on the International Space Station?
