Holy fat pants! I would have been staging a sit in protest if that wine hadn't been delivered...Glad to hear that it all worked out okay.

Opened a Seppelts Drumborg Riesling 2012 a week or so ago and it was sensational. Accidentally bumped into 5 more bottles at a good source....they fell into the box I was carrying so...

5 X Seppelts Drumborg Riesling 2012

Cheers
Matt

I have been looking everywhere for some Seppelts Drumborg Riesling 2012, so far without any luck. Apart from the Merle, this is the last of the 2012 I am really keen to try and track down. I don't suppose there was anymore at your location?

I just don't see any upside to trying any of these wines this decade. I got impatient recently and tried some of the 2005 I have and frankly it was just a waste. I could see the potential but I have enough MR and SA cab savs from the late 90s that there is no need to waste these wines by drinking them too early.

Great list. It reminds me I wanted to pick up those exact semillons. The Brokenwood is supposed to be superb and I really want the Lovedale 2005. I had a bottle of the 2000 Lovedale recently and it was awesome. It was the first time I have ever seen the transformation that occurs in HV semillons.

Cracker wine that - in my opinion it's actually worth close to what Penfolds are asking. Again, close, I'd say the 2010 is a genuine $45-50 wine, but still not $70-80.
