I managed to try a bottle of 1974 trennerts at a 5 star hotel in the uk.
and i am looking to buy as much as i can get hold of any year it was a small wine make in South Australia who sadly stopped making it in 1983
i am very interested in hearing your comments and if there is any about to purchase?

Hi Derek,

Good luck on your search, I drank my last Trennerts red about 20 years ago. It's amazing where wines turn up after such a long time. I take it the wine was in good form?

Geez

That takes me back, used to visit Trennerts and buy about twice a year, interesting wines and interesting people!

the wine was in great form last saturday night i opened a 74 and 83 (given to me by the wine makers daughter) i could not ofr asked for a nicer bottle of wine
