Fed up with the parker thing already, heres some wines to talk about instead.
I knew this was going to be vinfanticide insome form.
Still very dark colour, but starting to clear at the rim. Earthy and leathery on the nose over some plum and blackberry.
The palate starts out absolutely locked up, but opens gradually to reveal some medium bodied plum, cedar, chocolate and mulberries, and a mentholly note. Muddy tannins (like the bottom of a cup of plunger coffee in texture AND taste) by the truckload, a bit of heat and bite to the acid, mid length finish.
This is still quite closed, and built for a long sleep IMO. Fair enough drinking now, dont touch for another 5 yrs,
Night 2, the palate had opened a bit and more fruit was showing, but still a bucketful of tannin.
Very good now, more bottle age will see this even better. A bargain at $14,

UPDATE: night 3, and this is jus starting to show some oxidised characters. Stored in the fridge at about 4 degrees in the original bottle each night. A sign of a good keeper!
