TN: Chambers Old Liqueur Muscat (1970's bottling)

Post by markg »

I tremble when I think about how thick and luscious this wine is. Even though this particular bottle had been open for over a year it was still a rich, delicious wine. The color of treacle with a nose of liqueur chocolate and raisins. It had a mouthfeel like satin, but chewy with layers of thick, rich creamy raisins and dried fruit, fig, fruitcake, honey and vanilla and a long, lingering finish. Hmmmmmmm.......
Cheers
