TN: 2002 Vinecrest Merlot, Barossa Valley

The color was a nice dark purple with a plummy nose, a bit closed at first but opening up after about half an hour. A lovely soft palate of sweet plum and cinammon. Medium bodied and a generous length it finished with some stalky tannins that tended to disipate over time.
