1982 Moet et Chandon Dom Perignon
Light gold. Bouquet of lovely bready tones and refined. Excellent mousse and fine –sized bubbles. Palate is exceptional with superb length and balance. Medium-bodied – not as rich or complex or yeasty as its counterparts Bollinger or Krug but no less the wine. Hints of apples, lemon/lime, sponge cake and fresh bread. Nice acid finish suggesting some time to go. Beautiful poise and balance. At the peak of its considerable powers. A delight to drink.
