Edit: Apologies - the brand is Homewell, and it appears to be a thermoelectric cooler.
Well, to start off with, I think that the answer to my question is "you get what you pay for, and in this case that's not much", but I figured I'd ask anyway:
A friend's birthday is coming up, and he is into wine and has just bought a new apartment, so I thought I'd pool his friend's resources into getting a wine fridge. We have a budget of about $250, and so I thought a Dome fridge would be perfect. Unfortuantely these aren't going to be stocked anywhere until October.
The only other contender I've found in this pricerange is a 'Homewell' brand 28 bottle wine firdge sold by Homeart for $199.
Has anyone heard of these? Would I be silly to buy one? Is there any other option?
The bottles it will hold are probably only going to be for 2-4 years of storage, so its unlikely there will be any Grange of HoG in there!
Thanks so much,
P
