2002 Massena 11th Hour Shiraz
What wonderful stuff, deep red with touches of purple, the aroma rushes out of the glass! Fruit driven in the Massena style, with a huge core of raspberry fruit, plus blueberries, plums with light oak (French I think) and just a hint of florals and violets plus engaging spices. It is beautifully round and full in the mouth, ripe fruits fill the mouth followed by a long and lush moccha infused finish. It is beautifully ripe, it is beautifully balanced and its delicious. Cellar if you wish, me, pour me another glass!
