tokay
Tokay seems to have two styles to me. There are rich old caramel styles like the Morris Old premium and then there are the elegant old tea styles more like the Campbell Isabella rare. The Morris and the Seppeltsfield grand are worth looking at for starters as they are good value for what they are.

Bartenders are supposed to have people skills. Or was it people are supposed to have bartending skills?
Rutherglen
Rocket, Just so we don't overlook the obvious for the Tokey starter kit: if you can visit Rutherglen for two days and stick to tasting Tokeys, you will have passed Tokey 101, and maybe 102 by EoD 2.
(Ports and Durifs worth checking out as other specials from Rutherglen. Gericks [spelling? - nearest to highway]) Port we've found stands out somewhat.)

Agree, plus Campbells Isabella (another Rare). For less money try the Seppeltsfield Rare and Grand Tokay (or as we should now use Topaque). And for bargain get a bottle of Wayne Dutschke's Tokay(Topaque).
