Last batch I bought was the 98
Anyone tried the 02 - thought the ones in between were fair but not worthy of a "cheapy" buy for everyday drinking that will keep for a few years as well
Wolf Blass Gold label Cab/Sav 02
Yellow label
Correct you are - the brain said yellow label but the hand typed gold label
Have seen the 2002 advertised but have not tried it yet so I thought Id ask.

My palate agrees that the '02 is better than both the '00 and '01. The '99 was an absolute stunner at the price ( as low as $11 ), and the last many vintages before that have generally been excellent drinking, again given the price point. I think that as of '00 the quality was intentionally lowered, being much simpler wines - in my opinion, they've turned from being genuinely good wines to ( albeit still good ) quaffing material. Having said that, DM have the 2002 at $9 a pop for the dozen buy, which is pretty great value for day to day drinking
