I got this in a 20 litre container in December and added under half of it into an empty 9 litre port keg. It has been in approx. 4 weeks at the time of tasting.
A pale amber color (but very sharp and clear). On the nose, pronounced walnut, toffee, molasses and dried fruit. Similar flavors to the nose, medium body, medium length with a nice alcoholic warmth. Still very young but developing complexity. I am contemplating adding a teaspoon or two of muscat to smooth out the walnut bitterness.
