Rockford Black Shiraz (Disgorged 2001)

Post by markg »

Wonderful stuff !! We opened a bottle chilled as a pre-dinner drink instead of a cleansing ale or a champers!

Dark purple, with lovley fruitcake, violets, cherry, chocolate and asian spices on the nose. Medium length with gobs of blackberry, spice and licorice.
Cheers

Thanks Mark

"with gobs of blackberry, spice and licorice".

You've been spending too much time on E Bob, he always finds 'Gobs of' :)

Actually it was John Davis, he used the word the other night and it has been stuck in my mind since.
