Cullen Merlot Cab/Sav

Just got the Cullen newsletter - Is the Merlot Cab/Sav the same as their CabSav Merlot or do they release that different ?

I doubt it. It costs less than half the price.

Very much a little brother of the Cab Merlot...I tasted it at the CD a couple of weeks ago; it was probably about Recommended on the TORB scale. Not a patch on the DM.

I think they're obliged to list the ingredients in order of proportion, so the Merlot Cabernet has more Merlot for a smoother drink-soon style.

The cab sauv/merlot is predominantly cab sauv. As well as merlot it also has small quantities of malbec and petit verdot. It's now labelled Diana Madeline in honour of Vanya's late mother. Also received the newsletter. The merlot/cab is a very diferent wine from the Diana.
