Tech Question: Auswine Timeouts

Post by Nayan »

Just wondering if this caused by my computer or the server Auswine is housed on.

I often find Auswine slow to load (especially when compared to other fora), and if the page hasn't loaded in 30 seconds I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\auswine.com.au\subdomains\forum\httpdocs\includes\template.php(127) : eval()'d code on line 32

It is especially bad at the moment.

Anybody have any ideas?

It's working fine for me today and has been the last few days.

It's a bit hard to tell where in the sequence of links something goes wrong or slow.
Cheers

Life's too short to drink white wine and red wine is better for you too! :-)

Working well for me?

If others are experiencing difficulties, please let me know?

I've had the same experience at times. Usually works fine though.

It is a problem with the server being thrashed or on heavy load causing performance issues with PHP. Could be another website hosted on the same server that is sucking up the resource.

Its happening a lot for me currently, especially on pages that have many posts, not just a copule.

I assumed its because my connection has been throttled to 64kbs for exceeding my download limit this month (bloody Telstra Bigpond ...)

Happens to me probably 2 out of every 3 times that I try to load the page. Happened when I tried to load this page.

Figured that it had to do with being back on dial up. Some days can be wors than others and then I just shut down the page

No issues for me. Maybe you have a dodgy connection somewhere?
