TN: 2003 Westend Three Bridges Durif

Gold medals and Trophies attest to the quality of this wine, but really, the proof is in the drinking. A big rich and inviting nose full of plummy dark fruits, loads of spicy notes with an underlying blackberry touch. The palate is as expected, robust, full of flavour, with good balance and length. While not overly complex, this young wine is delicious current drinking that will undoubtedly improve over the next few years. My choice, enjoy with your favourite meat on the char grill, I did!

Gavin,
how would you compare it with Rutherglen Durifs?
