'99 Three Hills Shiraz (Happs) (Margaret River) - an incredibly concentrated wine. The black purple color is barely penetrated by the 300W Halogen bulb test. Nose of dark berries and earth. Flavors of mixed dark fruits, cassis, almond, earth, game and licorice. Kind of like a
hypothetical blend of a good Rhone, a good Cal. cab and a McLaren Vale shiraz. Very interesting and pretty complex, this wine also clears the sinuses. Good, minute long finish. Rated as Excellent, this wine may actually improve in 5 years time.
