2001 Penfolds St. Henri - $19.99USD - Would you buy?

Post by jayhawker »

I have yet to try a St. Henri, and this seems like a great price. Anybody have an opinion on this offer?
Cheers!

I already have my six-pack (from memory around $30+USD) and I haven't opened one yet - but I'd buy more at $20.

I had a feeling you'd say that. Too much wine, too little time (and money).
Cheers!

I'm flying into Seatac in a week's time. I'll PM you. Looks like I'll be having seriously large amounts of carry-on luggage at that price !!

It's a great price, but keep in mind this is not your typical St. Henri Jay. The 2001 vintage is a bit of a strange one - do a search and you'll get an idea from the numerous comments on this site. If you're looking for one that nails down the house style I'd pass on it.

Cheers,
Ian
