Favourite Hotels? Good ones...

Post by Neville K »

Hotels that hug you; have warmth, hospitality, great beer, food, and wine friendly.

At great risk of giving away secret and not so secret places. The Lincoln Hotel, Lincoln Street in Carlton is a ripper. Coopers Sparkling Ale and Carlton Draught on tap. Great wine list at very fair prices, some Reserve wines better than auction.Sshh. Good food, ambience and wonderful hosts.

The Healsville Hotel has everything. Amazing food, beer and wine list.

The 4 to 4 bar Myers Place.
The (old) Dogs' Bar, St Kilda

Any forumites' thoughts as to what makes a good hotel? Coopers on tap is always a good sign. The wine/food mafia honoured society nods in recognition.

The best hotel's give are the ones that give the biggest aircrew discounts.

Bless the Adelaide Hyatt and the 50% off it's cellar reserve-until the stocks of aged premium wine were depleted.
