Morris Wines took out the top award at the Victorian Wines Show.

The Rutherglen region wine-maker won the Most Successful Exhibitor trophy from 1,100 exhibits of Victorian wines at an awards presentation in Puckapunyal.

Chairman of judges and acclaimed wine writer James Halliday praised the quality of all 15 trophy winners, particularly the riesling from cooler areas that won three top gold medals.
