Rec'd newsletters on these new wines recently.

Has anyone actually tasted this wines and are they worth the money?

TIA

Tatiarra is a wine merchants own brand (who also has a fondness for scoring wines 99/100. These mustn't have been too good as they only got 98/100.

Many thanks

Sounds like someone got the electronic newsletter from another Adelaide based retailer.

Tasted the 02 Teusner Joshua and the 01 Groom Shiraz in May. The Joshua was interesting, but the Torbreck Juveniles was better in the same style. The 01 Groom Shiraz was good, but $40+ is getting steep.

Would be worth trying them to see if the new vintages are different, the 02 Groom in particular would be interesting!

cheers

Andrew

I had a chat with Kim Teusner and tasted his wines when he was in Sydney about a month ago.
The Joshua was excellent but the Avatar was the standout, he doesn't make a lot about 300 cases of the Joshua and 150 cases of the Avatar I think....
Good wines.

Cheers

Dave
