The surfeit of recent messages concerning the 2004 Penfolds Special Bins have left me a little weary.

I have just received the newsletter for the 2004 Red Edge wines.

I am certain that this is a better QPR proposition than the 2004 Penfolds Special Bins, especially since 2004 was generally a good year.

For members' information purposes, the Red Edge shiraz and the cab sauv are $42.50 each and the new wine in the stable is the 2004 Degree Shiraz at $22.50.

I have not tasted any of these but I intend to do so within the next 2 weeks.
