Passing of Richard Wienke of Eden Springs

An article in the Adelaide Advertiser on Saturday announced the passing of Eden Springs owner Richard Wienke "suddenly in his vineyard".

A really nice bloke who made small batches of interesting wine from his property on the Eden Valley ridge.

A sad passing but passed on doing what he loved.

Holy **** ! I am speachless. We was not old. A realy good bloke and I am sorry to see him go. Loved making wine and was a thorough gentleman and very honest peson to boot. Meredith must be devistated.

I am also shocked. I only received an email from Richard at the end of last week, he was very excited about the 2002 Eden Valley Shiraz. A heart felt condolence to the family.
