Brisbane case-splitting

Post by beef »

Hi all,

Question: is there anyone from Brisbane who's interested in setting up some sort of case-splitting arrangement for wine orders? I love the prices that we can get from down south, but am tired of having to buy whole cases to save on the pb shipping cost.

Purchases I'm currently interested in include a 6 pack of 2002 Penley Estate Reserve Cab (when it's released), based on Ric's gushing recommendation, and a 6 pack from Auswine's current 10% off sale.

Thanks everyone,

Stuart

I think I can spot a bait, but I'll take it anyway :D

Gavin is having and end-of-financial-year sale with some good specials and on other wines you can still get 10% off until June 30 if you use the coupon code notified on my RBG page. There are a few things I'd like to buy, if my cellar wasn't full an my credit card melting.
Cheers
Brian

Thats the problem with them Gold Cards - you need to get one made out of Platinum; they dont melt as easily but over indulgance can lead to heart attacks. :D

Better move to Adelaide Brian, then you can shop here in the centre of the wine universe at more leisure and in more modest quantities as there's no freight involved.

It's warmer here in winter too :-)

but still cold enough for a regular VP !

On a serious note, our host has got some very tempting wines, don't miss any 2002 Glaymond reds he still has tucked away (after my recent raid), they're excellent
Cheers - Steve
If you can see through it, it's not worth drinking!

You never know, it may happen (not for a few years yet though), but you probaby know approximately how many bottles of wine I would have to ship, that's a real big deterrent (as are out-laws), I need to drink more, buy less and sell off some at auction to make it all feasible.

...and with the proceeds of the sales at auction, hire a hit team to get rid of the out-laws.
