Guess Who I Bumped Into?

I was down at my local wine retailer (Wine Vault, Columbus Ohio USA) buying some cheap champers and who should I meet but Neil Pike the wine maker from Pikes!!!

I was very surprised to meet an Aussie wine maker in Columbus! Managed to taste a bunch of stuff (missed out on the reisling :cry: ) Particularly liked the 2002 Luccio (I think it's Sangovesse Merlot and Cabernet) and the high end 2002 Shiraz named after Neils Dad (Can't remember bloody name). It was huge albit very young.

An interesting afternoon was spent chatting to him, also found out about our mutual friends, Doddy, MacKa, Coops and Robo!
