Vintage 2005

The 2005 Vintage for Australia is all but complete and it seems like it will be a ripper in most districts.

I have been collecting some reports from winemakers with alternative varieties and the news seems to be very positive from all wine regions.

Do any Auswiners know of any regions that have had a poor vintage? Or are we looking at another 2002?

I just just been to SA and have collected a lot of information on 2005 and can see why you think it's a ripper but I am far from convinced. I am typing up my own vintage report which will go up next week with the reasons why it will not be all it is cracked up to be (in SA.)
