It was a membership renewal request offer from Winepros!
I fell for the offer last year, with the JH Wine Companion etc thrown in with promises of big improvements.
The big improvements never happened, a few JH articles appear sporadically, but the JH ratings area hasn't been updated, the Wine Life sales connection is just as bad or worse than the Vintage Cellars arrangement was.
Goodbye Winepros, why don't you just shut it down if you don't have the money to improve it?
Cheers Brian Life's too short to drink white wine and red wine is better for you too! :-)
interesting post by all of you - because between the three of you you make up a fairly large percentage of quality independent and credible wine opinion in Aust at the moment
why dont you do a joint venture ! god, what an interesting mesh of opinions and content it would, a veritable one stop shop - only half joking too!
the problem with all web sites as you three know is that you have to keep it relevant, up to date and interactive in some form.
Winepros isn't that bad, guys. True, they don't update at all but it's still goood for back vintages reference.
Halliday must be doing something else with his time.
Cheers,
Attila
