Vintage ratings 04?

Hi all,

i am hoping someone point me in the right direction in terms of Vintage ratings for 04??... SA, Vic & WA. Not much to ask i know .. :oops:

Am concerned with Siraz & cab ( & to these blends mailny)

I had the opportunity to taste a few samples from 2004 reds still in the barrel while in the Barossa last month.

Don't go near any 2004 Barossa reds. They were all crap.

Hmmm. Hopefully that will cull the hype and make them more accessable to me.

Interesting comment Davo. I thought just the opposite ! I had samples at Turkey Flat, Dutschke and Kalleske and was impressed with them all.

Also, one of the most high profile winemakers in the BV believes 04 and 05 shiraz will both turn out better than 02. He wants to keep his name private as he is currently selling the 02s !!!

You are probably right but then I am on unfamiliar ground as I usually let the wife do the washing and irony.
