How good is this?
Halliday and Penguin give it big wraps and a long cellar life but I've never seen anyone talking it up like St Peters or even Chalambar for example.
Any opinions?
Maurice O'Shea Shiraz 2000
This came up about 18 months ago - Attila wasn't impressed I thought it was stunning - as I could only afford two bottles at the time I'm not in a great hurry to open either. Here (I hope) is the link to January 04 note

Tried at the cellar door last year and it was stunning. A freshly opened bottle. The palate is not as dirty, earthy as some of the hunter shiraz and medium body in weight, the tannins is fine. Three of us tried it and one of them a long time Maurice o'Shea drinker. We shared 2 cases among us at the end.
have not opened one recently. Hope it is evolving nicely in the cellar.
