Excelent juice! Very concentrated, no sissy nose, great attack, long lasting finish, VERY balanced
ink like dark deep color,
spicy, the wine I couldn't find single imprefection...except...it could have had more alchohol.
It cut thru Tom Yoon Koung like a knife,
and cleansed the pallete well from all this extra spice in the hot soup.

In your mouth
4- smooth and balanced

Bang for a buck, quid, euro
5- buy more and tell your friends $25 US

Emotional review
5- I better buy more before the store runs out

Serge

Good note, I tend to agree.

BTW the 2003 is current release here, and while not quite as lush as the 2002, it is if anything, more concentrated, intense with a firmer tannin structure.

Terrific wines both and great value for your $$

Glad u discovered FOXY Lady
IMO their recent wines r not a patch of their pre-1998 level but still quite a mouthful.

$25 well spent. For the same amount it can only get u paint-stripper fr France

Gavin,
Had a chat with Mr.DIX in erobertparker.com, the new winemaker @ FoxCreek. No Reserve Shiraz 2003 was produced so the fruits were declassified into the Short Row.

Gentlemen,
tomorrow I'll be back to the store and
1) get the case of "Foxy"
2) get more representatives of Aussie's best (at least from what available in South Florida)

I DEFINATELLY like what we've had and find Australians a little less oaky and more baalnced than the Spanish countrparts.

OZ wines are definately oaky but less noticable becos the gobs of sweet ripe fruit is enough to drown the 2' by 2' unlike in Spain where the overcropped Tempranilo & Granacha were swallowed by the oak.

Very true....."Foxy" was a "fruit NUCLEAR bomb",
and in the good sense of it. Not much sugar, though..
Oak I can appreciate, sugar is another story.

It's bad enough we all be alchoholics by the age of 98,
but been an alcholic AND overweight is a real tragedy
;)
