Post away. I put stuff up on non-Aussie wines whenever I can. But then I'm guess I'm tolerated 'cause I still carry an Aussie Passport.

Go for it.

As long as the notes are reasonably current, great - the wider spread of tasting notes, the better.

While I haven't sampled many myself, I always enjoy a good read of Adair and Atilla's reviews which cover a lot of territory.

Cheers

I ONLY post CURRENT notes..
"My name is Serge and I am an alcoho...err..sorry, the wrong board...."
;)

Strong barnyard nose,
big and powerful on the attack, and finish,
balanced acidity, fruit, tanins and alchohol.

In your mouth
4- smooth and balanced

Bang for a buck, quid, euro
5- buy more and tell your friends $17 US

Emotional review
4- Thank you, Sir, may I have another!

13 points

The 15 points system we use is VERY simple:

Here is our Wine Tasting System, and this system reflects YOUR taste, when YOU use it:

In your mouth
1- sand paper
2- passable
3- good enough
4- smooth and balanced
5- goes down as mother's milk

Bang for a buck, quid, euro
1- is this wine made of gold?
2- expensive, but solid
3- worth it!
4- Good Vibrations
5- buy more and tell your friends

Emotional review
1- my enemies should drink it
2- I'd share it with my undertaker
3- good enough for my sibling
4- Thank you, Sir, may I have another?
5- I better buy more before the store runs out

What can I tell you?

"Every day above Parker is a GOOD day..."

Serge

Hello

Gavin Trott here, board owner. Nice to 'meet' you, and please, post away!!

If you don't get a lot of response its possibly because a lot of us don't get to try them so our experience is limited, but not our interest.

Let's chat re links and both sites also, say pm me or email.
regards

Gavin Trott

Serge

as for responce...I usually get more responces than board owners want
;)

..and I NEVER take anything personal,
and ALWAYS willing to learn about things I do not know,
my education in Aussie wines is more than spotty, I can use some help.

Post away. I am not that concerned if they are current or not
...as I like hearing about great wine experiences.
...especially as we in Australia struggle to get much current overseas wine anyway.
...as notes help us buy from auctions here.

Kind regards,
Adair

Adair,
I live in Florida, USA and I have the same complain:
not enough selections and access to great wines!
Our archaic alchohol shipping laws are to blame.

Oh well....
