Got some Cristal 2015 and Dom Perignon 2013 coming, so I'm pretty excited!

I don't buy much red these days - have way too much already!

I got caught up with the siren song of the $35 deal on cellarone for Gladstones. I really didn’t need it as I already have six, but was too good a deal to miss.

I really rate the 13s that have a decent whack of Chardonnay in them. Much better than their 2012 brethren.

same.

I’m an intentional FIFO worker and love a bottle watching the footy . This is $20 USD which is extraordinary value considering what I buy abroad! Took two bottles away with me and just had my knuckles slapped by German customs. No booze allowed for crew.

Oh I see your point. No I just said I need something heavier than the local wines here in Saxony.

I had great fun the other month going through Berlin with very unfriendly and inefficient border security... (maybe somewhat deliberate for UK passport holders in this brave post Brexit world)...

As to wine purchases, some fun Aussies on discount:
2x John's Blend 2019
1x Margaretes Shiraz 2019
1x Thomas Hardy Cabernet 2014
1x Wild Duck Sparkling NV
1x JC's Own Ferine Grenache 2020 ... anyone familiar with this producer? its a new one for me.
