surplus wine

Post by graham »

I have a few dozen bottles which are surplus to my needs - I could drink them but would be in serious danger of becoming an alcoholic  . Currently have 116 dozen of which 15 are approaching their drinking window in the next year or so- probably need to sell 4-5 dozen of my children. :(
Having never sold wine I have no idea how to sell it. Hows it done?
Who do you use?

Thankyou Graham
Nothing is so effective in keeping one young and full of lust as a discriminating palate thoroughly satisfied at least once a day.

Big reputable wine auctions: Langtons, Wickmans, maybe Oddbins and MWWines.
Other: www.torbwine.com.

Or just pass it on to your mates at cost. Some people on this forum could help.

Let us know the list you wanted to dispose.

Depending on storage I'd be happy to have a look!
PM if you've got a list.
