Re: 2022 tasting notes
Sean, thanks for the notes. Agree with your impressions on Chalambar, and Seppelts generally, greatly underrated IMHO.
Had a recent '03 Chalambar, at 20 years, absolutely singing! 2006/08/10/12 and a sting of vintages to come
Cheers Craig

Re: 2022 tasting notes
Yes I overlooked that, you are correct, all hauled to Nuri.
Suspect the extinct Benno, and fruit from the St Peters/Mt Ida is syphoned off too. Intrigues me where the only Arrawatta Hills release has come from?
cheers Craig

Re: 2022 tasting notes
Interested in this. So they’re using the fruit from GW and then sending it to SA for the winemaking? Interesting. Had read the winemaker was a South Aussie but didn’t realise that was how they were operating.

Yes Ed, since operations closed at GW, its largely a museum piece and a CD with overpriced wines. Might do the drives tour one day.
Claire Dry is the winemaker, so I guess she might spend a bit of time in SA at vintage, looking after the fruit. I think she is a Victorian.
