On Saturday evening I had a bottle of the 02 Spinifex Indigene. It was outstanding !!!. I have not seen this wine in stores here in US. The one bottle I had was bought at online auction. Do others share my opinion that this wine is sensational ? Also what is availability both in US and Aus.
Thanks

It's a cracker isn't it ...I've been buying a bit of it here but the production is pretty small...try the Esprit too. You will probably like the offerings from Teusner, Massena and the like if you enjoy the Spinifex too.
Cheers
Dave
Frank, the Spinifex wines are all tiny production so distribution is very limited here in Australia and I'd imagine it would be the same in the US.
They are excellent wines so not surprised you enjoyed it. Keep an eye out for similar styled small production wines like Massena Eleventh Hour, Tin Shed Single Wire, Schwarz Nitschke Block.

If you can see through it, it's not worth drinking!

First, I'll guess you are talking about the 002, although the 2003 may be out? i really liked this too. I found it a little hard on the back palate, but I tihnk this will soften with a bit of time.
the 02 Esprit is lovely too, and the 02 Shiraz Viognier also has oodles of potential, although I understand they only made 58 cases.
I hear there is a 2004 rose as well now?
I cant remember the names associated with Spinifex - is it Peter Schell and Magaly Gely? I understand both are associated with Turkey Flat in some way?
Interestingly 707 mentions Massena. They also has a Turkey Flat link via Jaysen Collins.
Hmmmm, anyone spotting a pattern here?
