A 2017 Rockbare Grenache (Mclaren Vale) has appeared in the local market. I took a look at the Rockbare website but could not find any mention of the wine, only a Tideway Grenache and a Grenache rose. Even wine-searcher only brings up the Tideway. Cellartracker has four vintages listed, 2016 to 2019 but no notes by anyone. Can anyone tell me something about this wine and why it isn't even on their website?
Any response would be much appreciated.
Cheers ................... Mahmoud.

Re: Rockbare Question
Okay, going back to my search I now find another Rockbare website where indeed the wine is referenced. However in this website there is no mention of the Tideway Grenache or the Grenache Rose. In this website Shelly Torreson is the winemaker and in the previous one she was the winemaker and Peter Fraser of Yangarra was the consulting winemaker. Looking over the two websites it appears that the second website is the correct one and the previous one is either an older one that is linked via another website.
Anyway, it seems that I have answered my own question.
Has anybody any experience with this wine - is it a good example of savoury Grenache or is it one of those blowsy, sweet fruited wine?

Re: Rockbare Question
I have only had the Shiraz and Cabernet.
Both were big and rich with lots of oak (not really my thing anymore).
