Purple / crimson in colour, and quite dense. Rich and complex nose, with ripe dark plums, heaps of spices like cloves and nutmeg, some mocha and vanilla, and red fruits starting to emerge.
The palate is medium bodied, with the red and dark fruits quite evident (although developing). A slight savoury or earthy edge. Tannins are fully integrated and barely noticeable, and acid is soft and supporting. There's a fair amount of intensity of flavour here, and the wine finishes very long.
A very good Australian shiraz. Just as well I have a few more - they'll last a few more years yet
Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
