I would not think anymore than $50-$70, and that is on a good day.

Less than $100 would be my guess. The problem is that it's not a sought-after wine, and Milawa cabernet in general is way down in the wine world's pecking list. Unless you're lucky to stumble across a couple of BB freaks bidding at auction, the price obtained is likely to bear little relation to the quantity of wine.
If it were a bottle of SA shiraz, it would be a different matter.

People pay a premium for the biggies...

Adam,
Those Redman Imperials (6 litre) get close to 8 times the going value of a single bottle (4 x magnum) but typically do not achieve a premium. Furthermore, I think these large format wines are an institution for a selected group of wine lovers.
I think most people would think that needing to buy 6.66 bottles of 1989 Brown Brothers to try the wine is simply risking 5.66 times more than needed to see if they enjoy the wine or not. Therefore, I don't think your calculations will hold here.
Either way, I would now be most interested to see what price it fetches. So Christopher, how about putting it up on Langton's?
... and Adam, no bidding on the item under 2 identities just to win the argument.
Kind regards,
Adair

Adam,
from the size of your glass, you would need large format bottles to get several glasses out of them.
