John Griffiths makes at least three shiraz wines from Swan Valley fruit most years. This is the entry level wine.
Entry level doesn't mean thin and insipid, however. This is a purple black wine redolent of dark fruits - black plums, blueberries, supported by vanillan oak and some coffee, chocolate and clove. The palate is rich (as the name suggests) - full bodied, textured, with good supporting acid and chunky tannins.
Thoroughly delicious, and will go another few years yet. Great value for money at a little over $20
Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.

Re: Faber Vineyard Riche Shiraz 2012
My final bottle tonight. Most of the elements in my previous TN are still there, but (naturally) the balance has shifted somewhat.
Tannins have softened, and the palate has become even more textural. The fruits have moved somewhat towards the red spectrum, but there's still plenty of plums and blueberries to match them. It's medium bodied and finishes quite long.
This is in good nick now and may not get much better - but it will certainly hold for a few years yet.

It is remarkable what you can discover in the $20-30 bracket.
