Decanted before service.
Deep garnet in colour. Developed nose with tomato leaf, lots of dried herbs, mushroom and dark cherry fruit almost in the background. The nose gives very little impression of fruit sweetness, with the savoury and herbal characters dominating.
The palate shows the fruit a lot more, and it's very good, and works better with the fine but grippy tannins, the supporting acidity and the herbal tones. The finish is clean and satisfying.
The nose almost introduces the wine, while the palate shows the complete wine. Balanced? Maybe not at the moment but a very interesting wine nonetheless.
Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
