Bangkok-Wine & Restaurants?

Post by JamieBahrain »

Off to Bangkok for the weekend ( with my wife ).

Off chance if anyone had any experience with good wine shopping and fine dining?

Try this...

An amazing array of seafood, cooked in a flash by an equally amazing array of chefs!

Hi Leo

Dont worry about the wine in Bkk, taxes run at 300%, and it is possibly
heat affected. In restaurants try Baan Kanitha soi 23 Sukhumvit Rd,
very good selection, and they speak English.
If u are suggested by the Hotel staff, to go to "Seafood market Restaurant" don't, it is overpriced.
If u want seafood try Somboon Seafood cnr new Road and Suriwongse
Bangkok. Also Japanese and Indian is very good in Bkk.

Cheers
