Ok, here we go. Two Questions today. Name BOTH wines:

i) “… the biggest smiles will belong to those who are patient enough to put it away in the cellar for 10 years”

ii) “For generations its voice rang out thrice daily ... at 6am, midday and 6pm ..."

i) I've read this somewhere - I'm sure it's a critic's remark about a Hunter semillon, but I can't be certain. Mount Pleasant Elizabeth? Hooke?

ii) Thinking outside the square here - Yalumba Clocktower (tawny)?

cheers,
Graeme

I must confess, I thought this might be over very quickly today and that clues would not be required. But, wrong? So, a clue. The wines come from the same state.

OhOhOhOh I got it now....

Second one is Wirra Wirra The Angelus !!

The 3/4 tonne Wirra Wirra bell that previously rang out from the Jesuit church in Norwood, South Australia, was found in a wreckers yard, and is now used to announce the beginning and end of each vintage in the McLaren Vale and for any other suitable celebrations. Traditionally used to describe the ringing of a church bell thrice daily to call the faithful to joyful prayer at 6:00am, Midday and 6:00pm.
