G'day
This small Margaret River producer has been on my radar from time to time for the past 10 years or so. This one has sat in the cellar for most of that time.
Purple red in colour. Nose has developed blackcurrant fruit and lots of savoury characters, especially tobacco. spice and a touch of vanilla. The palate has more of the developed fruit, with grippy tannins, and a medium to long finish.
Possibly better a year or two ago - although previous threads suggest that I might be underestimating when it comes to MR Cabernets. If it's any indication, the back label gave an 8 year (from vintage) window for drinking.

The colour suggests this should be drinking younger than you have experienced. 2007 was a great year over there; one of those vintages where it was harder to not make a good wine.
