This is a dozen buy every year. I drink a couple young, and then leave them for 3-4 years, and enjoy them over the 10 or so years after that. The oldest in the cellar is 2004, and every vintage since is represented.
Very pale straw with green tinges. Vibrant nose of lemon lime leaps out of the glass, along with some talc and lemon flowers / blossoms. The palate shows the same citrus fruit purity, with good supporting acid (not sharp) and a lingering finish. Delicious!
It's a typical PV Riesling - it appears a little soft up front right now, but everything is there to see it develop well over the next 10-15 years. A 2009 drunk last week was incredibly youthful, and certainly the improvements have been noticeable since the change to screwcaps in 2003.
Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.

Thanks for the notes. We haven't tried any before but they were featured in People of the Vines so I'll find a bottle at some point.

Nice note Allan.
I tried this in Feb, my note:
"A gently yeasty, bubblegum aroma blows off quickly, the more classic lime blossoms on the nose, then the lemons come with a texture like talc. Pretty good, could do with a little time to settle."
Short version of the note: It tastes like Pewsey Vale Riesling, and I reckon a pretty decent one.
