I am stunned by how much bottle variation there is between taking a bottle out of the cellar and standing it upright the day before opening and drinking and opening a bottle the same day as taking it out of the cellar and drinking it. I have opened enough bottles from the same case over time to see a substantial difference.
Seems both of our teams fared poorly...yours particularly so
Very sorry to see Libba go down...felt like when Sam Docherty was out for the season, need your best cattle on the park!
Still both are in a better position than those in their creams who play with their balls...absolute overpaid dickheads...glad they lost 10 for 50!!
Cheers
Craig
Hi David. As noted previously the format (13 people/1 bottle each) does not really appeal to me so I am happy to step aside so someone else can participate. This is just a personal view (call me fussy) and I look forward to seeing the TNs after the night.
The 98 JR has now been earmarked for our birthdays in late May which are coincidentally one day apart. Will be booking a table at Chianti on Hutt St Adelaide. I'll post TNs.
Have a great night. Wines look sensational.
Carl

I now need to firm up final attendee numbers with the restaurant. I know some of you have recently confirmed but can I please just ask everyone again on the list below to now provide final confirmation and what wine or in some case wines (back ups) you have finally decided to bring along on the night.
Sorry to ask again but it been a long time since planning started and people are naturally busy and circumstances do change.

Last week I saw Jason add a reminder about the offline into his phone, think you can just about count him as locked-in.
I have no idea what he's bringing though, he mentioned he had a few options... said he thought everyone would have been tired of trying the '08 Grange by now.
Hi David il defently be attending. Im going to bring a 2008 wild witch. I tried the 08 Roennfeldt over the weekend at c.d and it was huge. The witch should show well. See you then.
Cheers
I've found 2008 South Australia to be very disjointed at the high end. Last night I had a 2008 Meschach which I found hard going. You guys drink a lot more 2008's than me so my negative experiences perhaps only my limited sample base.
