A brooding dark purple in the glass. Massive nose of different elements all climbing over each other to express themselves (the progressive rock band of Australian wine?

The palate is almost as expressive (progressive?) with grippy tannins, strong supporting acid, waves of dark developed fruits, more mocha and a very long finish. Alcohol comes into play again, and there's considerable palate weight.
Possibly still too young (at 12 years of age) and an absolute monster of a wine. I thoroughly enjoyed a glass and a half, but an entire bottle would have tested me. A fabulous wine, for modest consumption.
Cheers
