WHITES ONLY - CLUB DINNER REPORT

Date: November 13 Saturday, 2004.
Six of us, who didn’t mind to drink whites only, gathered for this Club night at DavidP’s place in Randwick. David cooked great dishes as usual. Adair brought Tête de Moine cheese with rare qualities (that I never got to eat), and we were really lucky with some of the wines. The only person unlucky was me.

Attendees were:
DAVIDP: Master of Wine student, our chef.
KIERAN: Forumite and Australian wine enthusiast. Other than Adair, we met him for the first time.
ADAIR: Great taster, baby expert and forumite.
ATTILA: Club co-founder and red bucket keeper.

This was after 10 pm and I spent the next 2.5 hours curled up in David PearsonÂ’s room on his bed (surrounded by various samurai swords) throwing up in a red bucket, generously supplied by David. I completely missed the rest of the tasting.

All that c-though  would do that to me too, .. but at least the bucket was the right colour! :P
Cheers

Excellent read, love the theme, the tops - good idea but ..... hmm black probably suits you blokes better  But the most interesting thing is the contents of the Riedel on the table :? :? Deepest, darkest white I've ever seen, or do my eyes deceive me? Waiting in anticipation ...........

Good pickup. There were a few wines that Attila missed due to illness. I will report fully by the end of this week.
