The Alexandra Bridge Cab Sauv 2001 took out the Gold in it's class as well as the trophy for best dry red table wine at the Perth Wine Show.
For C-thru imbibers, Houghton did the same with their Chardy, forget which one.
Congrats to Alexandra Bridge/Brad

Reckon I can still bask in the glory tho Davo! Great wine really hitting its straps now.
Once the Group grew to include Hay Shed and Chestnut and Bunker Bay they centralised operations to Perth at end of June. We winery managers didn't have a home any more. I continued with some consultancy back to the parent company but I have since taken on some contract work with a couple of labels in MR.
Had a great time developing and restructuring AB, and we parted on good terms.
At the moment I'm heading up to Cape Leveque for a long-desired break from all things wine-ish. Except the reds we're taking for the trip!
Thanks for the thoughts, brad
